Nike ends the debate around Fat Joe's 'Terror Squad' Air Force 1s, once and for all. They're here and they're official.
The Terror Squad AF1s have been a thing of folklore, we've all seen them but they have always been perpetually "coming soon". There are plenty of rumours around why they never released, whether they were real and if Joe's crew had indeed found Nike's sampling factory and made their own pairs. As with all tall tales, truth never gets in the way of a good story.
Rumours and myths aside, Nike saw fit to finally — after all these years — release official Terror Squad Air Force 1s to the world. Was it worth the wait? Well you're here reading this so what do you think?
Like most of the TS versions made over the years, the colour blocking and material make-up is pretty classic for an AF1. These being the 'Blackout' version sees the uppers in a monochrome black and white combination. The heels feature a cursive 'J C' which calls-out Joey Crack — a nickname earned by Joe at a young age and proven through his entrepreneurial escapades. The iconic 'TS' sits on the rear quarter, the same place it's occupied on every Terror Squad Air Force.
